Why We’re Different

Imagine this visit to your health care professional’s office: You’re greeted when you enter, and while you wait (which is, you discover, a very short wait) you enjoy something to drink in a relaxing, comfortable space that’s closer to a living room than a waiting room.

Your visit is long enough to really explore your current health concerns, and you realize that (perhaps for the first time) you’re beginning to understand how your body works, and how it can run at its best. Your naturopath lays out a course of treatment that is focused not just on treating your symptoms, but getting to the root of why you have them in the first place. You discover that your naturopath is a partner in helping you find your best possible level of health.

If that sounds like the care that you’re seeking, we’d love to hear from you.

StoneTree is committed to a set of guiding principles – they’re explained below. Those principles guide how we make decisions and run our clinic, and we’d like to share them with you. If you have any questions, please contact us at anytime.

Patients are People

Each one of us has our own unique health pattern. Our physiology, our emotions, our lifestyle and our genetics give us our own one-of-a-kind body that responds in its own special way to the world around us. When you visit us, you’ll find we want to know exactly what makes you tick so we can find the best way to help you to your best health.

We’re Here to Serve

To be specific, we’re here to serve you. When you visit StoneTree, your health experience should leave you feeling better, not worse. Your time in our clinic should be something to look forward to – you shouldn’t have to wait long for your appointment, and if you need more time with your practitioner during your next visit, just ask. In fact, if you need anything…just ask. We’ll do all we can to help.

Get to the Source

Our goal is to help you find your best health…for the rest of your life. That means that in addition to helping you with those strange, difficult and uncomfortable symptoms, we want to get to the root cause of what’s bothering you so that the symptoms don’t reoccur.

Informed Consent and Education

At StoneTree, we know the best way for you to improve your health is to understand it. We’ll take as much time as you need to explain how your body works, and what we think your treatment options are. We call them options for a good reason: choosing how to proceed is up to you. We’ll give you the best professional health care advice and education we can offer so that you can make the best, informed choice for your health.

Only What You Need

It’s our job to help you feel better and stay that way. It’s not our job to sell you supplements that you don’t need, or offer services that won’t help. We use tools that work, and we use them on the people that they work with. You won’t find us over-prescribing or over-treating. And if you have a question about anything involving your care, be sure to ask – you’ll get a clear explanation that makes sense.

The Big Picture

You might find that our goal here is something different. Naturally we want to relieve your symptoms and help with those acute aches, pains and conditions, but we’re also focused on something different: the long term. We want to help you along the path to your very best level of health, not just treat the symptoms of your disease. We want you to feel better, and then we want to help you stay that way.

If this sounds like health care that fits with you, then we’d love the privilege of helping. Call us at your convenience at (705) 444-5331. We’ll be glad to hear from you.

You can book a complimentary “meet the doctor” visit anytime by calling the clinic. You’ll be able to ask questions, find out how we can help, and see if there’s a comfortable fit with your naturopath.
