Once again the team at StoneTree clinic will be collecting items for our local food bank.
As many of you know, gluten-free products and dairy alternatives can sometimes be very expensive. Imagine needing assistance with food and also having a child with celiac disease or a dairy intolerance–it’s an overwhelming situation, and often food banks don’t have many contributions that fit those needs.
This year, as in the past few years we will be trying to focus our attention on stocking up our local food bank to support those families.
Of course, we are also happy to accept any donation. This great little article gives some wonderful suggestions on what food banks need and want but never ask for–things like spices, feminine products, socks, toiletries and soup packets are all greatly appreciated.
You can drop off your items at the clinic (115 Hurontario Street, Suite 200, Collingwood, ON) from Monday to Friday until Christmas Eve at 1PM.
Happy holidays to all,
The StoneTree Team
